3/4 cup of water
3/4 cup of white vinegar
1 tbsp white sugar
1 tbsp kosher salt
1-2 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 tsp oregano
10 fresh jalapenos, sliced

Combine water, vinegar, sugar, kosher salt, garlic, and oregano in a saucepan over high heat.
Bring mixture to a boil, stir in jalapeno peppers, cook for a couple of minutes and remove from heat.
Let mixture cool for 10 minutes.
Pour peppers into a jar or Pyrex style covered container. Refrigerate until needed.
