Cheesy Baked Asparagus

This is a simple to execute, tasty way to prepare asparagus, and keto.

Ingredients Directions

  • 1 lb asparagus
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp italian seasoning, divided
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup ruyère cheese, shredded

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil (greased) or parchment paper.
  2. Toss the asparagus with olive oil, salt, pepper, and a teaspoon of italian seasoning. Arrange in a single layer on the lined baking sheet.
  3. Roast in the oven for about 8 minutes, until the asparagus is bright green and just starting to soften.
  4. Mix together the cheese and remaining italian seasons then sprinkle over the asparagus.
  5. Return to the oven for another 8 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.
    1. Optional: Finish under the broiler for a couple of minutes, to brown the cheese
