Flap Meat Marinade

A marinade that's particularly good for sirloin flap meat (flank/skirt). Let marinade for at least for an hour, I've gone up to 3 days.

Ingredients Directions
Per 2 lbs of meat:

  • 1/4 cut soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp real maple syrup
  • 4 garlic cloves crushed
  • 2 tsp black pepper

  1. Remove from marinade and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. The sugar from the maple syrup really helps thin cuts to brown on the grill before the whole thing is overcooked.
