Gochujang Sauce

This mildly spicy sauce is great for rice dishes, dipping spring rolls, etc.

Ingredients Directions

  • 2 to 3 tbsp gochujang paste
  • 1 1/2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp sesame oil

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the gochujang paste, vinegar, sesame oil, and maple syrup. Use less gochujang paste for a mild sauce, use more for a spicier sauce.
  2. The sesame oil is very intensely flavored, add carefully to taste.
  3. Spoon onto bibimbap bowls, or use as a dressing for any veggie rice bowl.
