Roasted Garlic

Great in pasta, spread over bread, in sauces, etc.

Ingredients Directions

  • Whole bulbs of garlic
  • Olive oil

  1. Heat oven to 400º F
  2. Cut about 1/4 to 1/2 inch of the top of the garlic bulbs off, just enough to expose the tops of most of cloves
  3. Place bulbs cut size up on a foil lined sheet pan
  4. Drizzle with olive oil
  5. Cover loosely with foil
  6. Bake 30-60 minutes, until the garlic is soft and golden brown on the tops. Large cloves like elephant garlic will take much longer than the smaller white garlic.
